Him Sarvodaya sr. Sec. School Ghumarwin is a co-educational institution which imparts education from Nursery to 10+2 class. It came into existence in April 1992 under the benign and dynamic giidance of Late Shri Hira Lal Mahajan ji, a renowned educationist and sociafist of the city. This institution is being run by Him Sarvodaya Shikshan Prashikshan Samiti under the direction and guidance of Smt. Neelam Mahajan. The society has been registered under socity Act XXI-1860(Regd. No. 123/92) Govt. of India.
This school has blossomed into a center for excellence in the development of civilized human beings for society. This is the only institution of city which has the distinction in providing Doctors, Engineers, Aeronauts, iit’s, AIEEE, Gold Medalists, JEE and Meritorious studentsof high characters in previous years.

Him Sarvodaya Sr. Sec. School has been established by its founder Late Sh. Hira Lal mahajan Ji with sole objective of providing the best possible education in the private sector leaving no stones unturned.
As a young leader, Late Sh. Ashwani Kumar Mahajan worked with the goal that our school has been established with a sole purpose to provide high quality education to all sections of the society, allowing our students to pursue study in a easy and free way.
To cultivate the habit of reading and to provide a stimulating environment of studies, we have a well equipped and well managed library. It is compulsory for students to read at least two extra good books in a month. The reading material of the library is divided in to three sections viz Periodical section, Reference section and General section. All sections are full of qualitative reading material.
Well stocked libraries in the Senior Block and the Junior Block provide reading and reference facilities on a variety of subjects. These go a long way in reinforcing what the students learn in the class room .
The school have a well equipped computer laboratory having colored monitors with P-IV configuration and multimedia units of companies such as HP, HCL, Samsung Have been installed. There is a large collection of educational software.
The class rooms are spacious, well ventilated with plenty of space for the Students and teachers to move around and interact.Class room are fully airely.
The school provides a well equipped facilities for Badminton, volleyball, Basketball, kabaddi, kho-kho,Lawn Tennis Table tennis, Hockey, football, Gymnastic, Many other.
School provides conveyance to the students through a fleet of 09 buses. All buses are fully puffed with all the safety measures to meet the required parameters as First-Aid-Box, Fire-Extingusiher, particulars of the students boarding the bus etc.
To enhance concentration ability of the students there is Kathak Class for 2 days in a week. The school has a provision of well – equipped vocal music and instrumental music room at its campus where the students are trained in various forms of preforming arts.
